Try to come up with similar riddles yourself. Extracurricular activity in the Russian language, “Making a riddle

« Making up a riddle »

Target: introduce students to techniques for constructing a descriptive riddle; develop the ability to find accurate comparisons, words that name the characteristics of objects.

I. Statement of the lesson objective

You already know that the description answers the question Which? And it helps to see (imagine) the object. But did you know that you can play with descriptions? Read the riddles and try to guess them. (Reading riddles.)

Little animals

Gray fur coats,

Long tails

Little black eyes,

Sharp teeth .

I'm knocking on wood, I want to get a worm,

Even though he hid under the bark -

It will still be mine!

You are good at solving riddles. Of course, this is a mouse, a woodpecker, a ram. How did you guess? What signs of these animals are mentioned in the riddles?

Consider, for example, the mouse riddle. It describes the growth, tail, fur coat, and teeth of the animal. Let's pose the questions: What is your height? What tail? What kind of fur coat? What kind of teeth? Now let’s pose the question from the answer (mouse) to the text of the riddle. That's right, that's the question which? This is exactly the question that a text like description answers. This means that we have before us riddles and descriptions. Let's learn to compose

such riddles.

II. Making a riddle

The preparatory work includes several games that will help children select the most accurate and expressive words when writing riddles.

· A game« Say the word

In the summer in the garden -

Fresh, green,

And in winter in a barrel -

Yellow, salty.

Guess it, well done

What's our name? ... (Cucumbers.)

She welcomes spring -

He puts on earrings.

Draped over the back

Green scarf.

And the dress is striped.

Do you recognize... (birch tree)?

2. A game« Who will choose the most rhymes?»

The words are written on the board:

legs sitting

horns idle

spoons looked

sandals lost weight

centipedes getting younger

cats

crumbs

3. A game« What does it look like?»

Match the words with comparisons:

cactus snake

Christmas tree variegated ribbon

comb rope

porcupine belt

pin cushion whip

pincushion strap

pencil holder rope

brush

grater

III. Introducing two types of description riddles:

· which are based on a list of distinctive features of objects;

· signs of hidden objects are revealed through comparisons.

· For analysis, the teacher can choose one of the proposed riddles of the first type or a similarly composed one:

I am small in stature, I was born under an aspen tree.

Thin and sharp.(Needle.)Round, red and beautiful,

With a thin and straight leg.

(Boletus)

She is colorful, eats green, gives white.(Cow.)

Look at the mystery object (children must see it in the picture or, if possible, in in kind). Name the distinctive features by which it can be found among other objects.

When composing riddles about a needle, for example, the teacher places objects such as a thimble, thread, scissors, etc. on the table.

List these signs without naming the mystery item, if possible, in rhyme. Who has the best riddle? Why?

Now who wants to make up their own riddle about one of the objects lying on my table? I wonder if we can guess what item is hidden in the description?

2.Work on the second type of riddles is structured somewhat differently.

Look, what is this? (Kettle.)

Look carefully at the teapot and name it external signs. What is he like? That's right, the kettle is round, with a spout and whistle, a handle and a lid.

What does the teapot look like? Who does it remind you of? Let's write your comparisons on the board:

kettle What is a kettle for?

elephant boil water

elephant in a beret drinking tea

pot-bellied elephant

locomotive

Where is the kettle? What's in the kettle?

there is boiling water on the table

steam sits on the fire making noise

water is boiling on the stove, bubbling

steam puffs

Look at your “blanks” and choose the comparison you like, for example “an elephant in a beret.” Let's start with the riddle:

An elephant in a beret (where it is) sits on the fire,

(what does it do?) boils water.

An elephant in a beret stands on the table,

He gives us tea.

Angry locomotive

Hisses, whistles,

I'll have some tea soon.

There are also interesting mysteries based on the denial of similarity.

Look at the drawing. This is a turnip. Tell me what shape, color, taste it is. Round, with a tail, yellow, sweet. Right. Think about what objects have the same characteristics? Of course, a round ball (watermelon), yellow butter (lemon), sweet sugar (chocolate), a mouse with a tail (pig). Here’s what’s interesting: after all, the characteristics of all the listed objects are really the same, but in fact the objects are not at all similar to each other. This is the secret of such riddles.

Let's try to make a riddle about a turnip, listing its characteristics and denying its similarity to other objects that have the same characteristics.

Round, but not a ball.

Yellow, but not oil.

Sweet, but not sugar,

With a tail, but not a mouse.

The teacher can ask the children to create the same type of riddle about a donkey.

Gray, but not a wolf,

Long-eared, but not a hare,

With hooves, but not a horse.

IV.Summarizing

· Riddles-descriptions are different, but the following is important:

· - the object about which the riddle is being written is not named;

· - such signs of the mystery object are called by which it can be recognized;

· -sometimes the riddle talks about an object that is similar to the one in question, and comparisons are made;

· - the riddle can be rhymed.

V.Independent work

Make up any type of riddle. Hold a competition for the best riddle.

VI. Reading riddles composed independently.

Topic: Writing a riddle.
Target: Teach children to establish the similarity of distant objects and phenomena. Equipment: Sieve, sunflower, seeds, orange, briefcase, pea pod.

Progress of the lesson.

1. Checking homework.

-
What does a birch leaf look like? (For coins.)
- Oak leaf? (On flashlights.)
- Willow leaf? (On boats.)

2. Preparatory stage.

- Writers and poets very often use comparisons in their works. In everyday speech, people also use comparisons. As a result, speech becomes more interesting and expressive. The comparison of two objects is also the basis for composing riddles. Riddles arose in Rus' in ancient times, they were put together by the people. At the same time, the intended object was depicted cunningly and intricately, so that the guesser would puzzle over the answer. Today we will try to unravel the secret of inventing a riddle.

Let's start with one of them: “The golden sieve is full of black houses.” What is this?
- Why does the magic of a riddle turn a sunflower into a sieve? (Show the sieve.) Their similarity is not only in the fact that they are round, but also in the fact that in a sunflower for each seed there is its own cell - a “hole”, and such cells are visible and invisible, like in a sieve. And the sunflower “hat” has a recess and protruding edges to maintain its fullness.

- Take the seed in your hands and examine it. What is it called in the riddle?
- Why? The seed not only with its pointed shape resembles a house with a pointed roof, but also hides a “tenant” inside - a white nucleolus. And this nucleolus, if you look closely, resembles a human figurine with a small head. This is what the “mysteriousness of a riddle” consists of. In the text, the object that is being riddled is depicted with the help of another object that is somewhat similar. At the same time, a description of the properties of the intended object is given. The conditions necessary for composing the riddle are written on the board.

- The riddle is the text.
- Replacement.

Properties of the intended object.

3.Main stage.
- Now let’s try to come up with a riddle ourselves. Who ate tangerines?
- Imagine that you have a tangerine in your hand. What is he like? -What does a tangerine look like? (In the sun, on a ball, etc.)
- In our riddle text, we will call the tangerine the sun. (Write the word “sun” on the board.)
- Now name the main difference between mandarin and other items. (Lobules.)
-What do the slices look like? (For a month.)
- Compose a text with the words: “sun”, “month”. You will end up with a riddle.

(Listen to the children. Express approval and admiration for their creations.)

Sample text: “Mom brought a delicious sun with months inside and gave it to the children.”

At the next stage, divide the children into groups. Give each group one of the objects or its image (for example: a briefcase, a dandelion, a pea pod, a carrot, an onion) and ask them to come up with a riddle. Sample texts riddles. (From a collection of riddles.)

I carry a new house in my hand,

The doors of the house are locked.

The residents here are made of paper,

All terribly important.

Svetlana Zakharkina
Ways and techniques of inventing riddles with children of senior preschool age.

Making up riddles

based on comparison and on assignment

IN senior preschool age children continue to develop their thinking skills activities: the processes of analysis and synthesis proceed more accurately, children master the operations of comparison, juxtaposition, generalization, and can independently draw conclusions and conclusions. Taking this into account, when working with five- to six-year-olds children's riddles are used especially widely and diversify the subject matter. They talk about animals, birds, fish, insects, natural phenomena and their patterns; household items and tools of human labor; means of transportation, communication and information; about sports, people, literacy, books.

WITH older children can write riddles - comparisons: "round like a ball, green like grass, sweet like sugar". - (Watermelon). To do this, you must first identify some basic characteristics of the objects about which you are writing. mystery, and then think about what to compare them with.

Here's a typical nursery mystery based on negative comparisons: with a mustache, not an uncle, sings, not an artist, fluffy, not a dog. It is clear that this is a cat. If you decide come up with a riddle, for example, about an umbrella, ask the children to highlight its main purpose, what it is needed for. Hiding from the rain. What does an umbrella look like? On the dome, on the roof on the leg, on the fungus. What color is it? Bright, colorful, painted. Here you are ready mystery: The painted dome hid you and me from the rain.

The teacher can offer children other tasks: the answer must have a certain sound, for example "P", "V", "With".

Children offer:

“Good, kind, happy, glues tiles and wallpaper”. (Dad)

“Grey, lives in the forest and also bites”. (Wolf)

“It flies and flies in the sky, then falls to the ground and

makes snowdrifts." (Snow)

Making up riddles with sound indications,

which is in the guess word

Another technique - coming up with riddles with sound naming, which is in the guess word.

Plots for such riddles suggested by pictures or toys, prepared in advance and laid out in plain sight by the teacher. Here are some examples children's riddles:

« Of blue color, round shape, rolls, jumps, can be thrown into the basket, has sound "M". (Ball);

“White, with patterns, it melts on the hand. There is a sound "WITH". What is this?" (Snowflake);

“We drink compote from it, drink tea with milk, cocoa. There is a sound "H". (Cup);

“Sharp, grows in the ground, orange”. Sound in a word "M". (Carrot).

Sound puzzles

Next move - inventing sound riddles. Children gain a diverse experience of sound sensations. Such puzzles develop phonemic perception (the ability to identify in pronunciation and hear a given sound in words, help develop in children auditory attention, reinforce correct pronunciation, contribute development of good diction.

For example, such our children came up with riddles:

Z ZH ZH Z

Who is this? (fly)

What is this? (wind, gusts of wind)

Who is this? (Wolf.)

Sh Sh Sh Sh Sh Sh

Who is this? (python).

Don't criticize puzzles, invented by children, no matter how ridiculous they may seem to you. In any case, this is a huge work of the mind, this is a search for the right words, this is sincerity and spontaneity. You should definitely praise for this. And the primitiveness of children's there are riddles coming, most often, from a lack of life experience, from the paucity of knowledge about oneself and the world around us. The more life experience, the more interesting children's puzzles. And vice versa, the more we guess and compose riddles with your child, the better he develops, the more information he absorbs.

Dear teachers, more good and different riddles!
