Try this: it will be even more interesting if you prepare a lot of cards, where one different word will be written, and the players themselves will draw out the 5 words they got.

You will need various items such as: garlands, funny hats, scarves, beads, ribbons. socks, gloves, women's bags... Two or three ladies who want to be in the role of Snow Maidens for a few minutes each choose a man for themselves to turn him into Santa Claus.

From items prepared in advance on the table, the Snow Maiden creates a cheerful image of their hero. In principle, this can be ended by choosing the most successful and funny model ...

The Snow Maiden can take snowflakes for herself, which will help with the "decoration" of Santa Claus and with advertising.

This is a very successful game to determine couples for subsequent New Year's competitions.

Attributes: colored ribbons in winter shades (blue, light blue, silver ...). Length 4-5 meters. It is necessary to cut the ribbons in half in advance and sew them together, confusing the halves.

3-4 pairs of players are called. The host holds a basket / box, to which there are multi-colored ribbons, the tips of which hang down.

Presenter: “In the New Year, the paths were covered with snow ... The blizzard mixed up the paths in the house of Santa Claus. We need to unravel them! At the right moment, an "astrologer" can visit the holiday. One of the hosts of the holiday (or a previously warned guest) dresses up as a magician - an astrologer. He dons a dark cloak adorned with glittering frills and a blue cardboard cap with stars and crescents. In his hands are "old" books and scrolls with predictions for each participant in the holiday. Scrolls can be made from whatman paper. It is good if the predictions are written in colors "faded from old age" and in "antique" handwriting. And do not forget to give the paper of the scroll an "ancient" look - remember it well. The astrologer reads the predictions from the scrolls and solemnly presents them to each guest as a gift.

New Year's mental crossword

You can offer your guests a "New Year's mental crossword puzzle." The host says a description of the word, adds how many letters it consists of. Guests mentally imagine, guess this word. Whoever said the answer faster gets a point. The one with the most points wins a prize. So:

1. Name and surname of an elderly man. He is a ladies' man dressed in Winter 2000 fashion (8 letters). Answer: Santa Claus.
2. A dairy product that maintains the temperature in winter but is consumed in summer (9 letters). Answer: ice cream.
3. Story. It takes place in winter. The main characters are two girls. One of them is helped by the hero, whose name the fairy tale is named after. He gives her gifts and marries her (7 letters). Answer: Frost.
4. A tree whose absence of leaves speaks of its special purpose (4 letters). Answer: tree.
5. Fashion model with a blond braid, always participating in winter holidays. Appears always accompanied by an elderly sponsor (10 letters). Answer: Snow Maiden.
6. The location of the long-awaited joy for people who survived until winter. It has always been a symbol under a tree without leaves (5 letters). Answer: bag.
7. A liquid that is taken internally with great joy (10 letters). Answer: champagne.
