Developing our desire to photograph “real” people, we invited the DJ duo Maiden Obey - Dasha Utochka and Nastya Pilepchuk, who know very well what it means to shine, to act as models.

Nastya (on the left) has a suitable eyelid shape for drawing geometric shapes on it, which is what we did with a blue pencil. Dasha (on the right) has holographic glitter, they catch and reflect light so beautifully that we decided to do without a colored base and apply them as if the wind had knocked shining tears to her temples.

The easiest option for those who know almost nothing is to distribute glitter over the entire face or one part of it. Without a doubt, it is the most spectacular - depending on the glitter material, it can sparkle like diamond dust or at least shimmer like scales. You will have to apply Vaseline again, but for walking outside, such makeup will even be a help - your face will definitely not become chapped. Let’s add that it’s easier not to pick up small and light glitter on a brush and then transfer it to the face, but to pour it into a folded album sheet and blow it onto the skin. Larger ones, like Nastya’s, will still have to be glued by hand.

As we already know, makeup is not just a painted face. A painted and shiny neck, in our opinion, looks beautiful and festive, and sparkles in the parting can decorate even the most simple hairstyle. Again, glitter will not add tint to the skin, so first you need to apply eye shadow (we chose blue, but any will do), and then glitter. For durability, it is also better to apply a little Vaseline to the parting and glue glitter on it. It’s more difficult with your hands: you’ll hardly be able to avoid touching anything with them, so instead of glitter we suggest painting them with permanent cream eyeshadow and, until they harden, rub glitter into them. Those who are especially brave can paint their skin with chrome graffiti paint - it certainly won’t wash off in one evening.
