When are pensions indexed in a year? Increasing state pension benefits

The Russians received increased pensions in January 2018, payments to unemployed citizens were recalculated by 3.7%. In total, the country plans to recalculate three times: in winter, spring and summer. But the very first were retired military personnel - their pensions were indexed back in December 2017.

Indexation of pensions in January

In the coming year, Russian pensions will be indexed three times: in winter, in January; in spring, April, and summer - in August. Non-working pensioners will be the first to receive recalculated social payments - from January 1, they were increased by 3.7%. Thus, the average monthly pension was 14,329 rubles. The Pension Fund also reported that certain categories of recipients whose payments are less than the subsistence level established in the region are entitled to social supplements. The amount of additional payments depends on the size of pensions, but in total it must correspond to the minimum income level.

In the spring, in April, indexation of social pensions is expected. This type of payment is available to the following categories of citizens:

  • disabled people;
  • war veterans;
  • children left without a breadwinner;
  • citizens who do not have the required work experience.

On this moment social pensions, if we take the average size, are equal to 8,742 rubles. In April, this amount will be indexed by 4.1%.

If we talk about another category of recipients, then working pensioners still should not expect an increase. Recalculation for pensioners who continue to maintain labor activity, was canceled several years ago. Instead, they began to be charged pension points for each worked after achieving retirement age, year. After final retirement, the accumulated PB will be recalculated. According to the latest news, this year the cost of one point has increased from 78.68 rubles to 81.49 rubles.

Also, at the end of last year, a recalculation was made for military pensioners - about 2.6 million people will receive 4% more. It is expected that the average size will be 24.5 thousand rubles. The Ministry of Defense noted that the military will be counted twice this year: an increase in pensions in February and an increase in pay in January.

« According to established tradition, military pensions for January 2018 were paid in an increased amount already in December 2017 before New Year holidays ", the department stated.

In total, approximately 3.07 trillion rubles were allocated for these purposes.

Recalculation and payment of pensions

As you know, the recalculation of pensions took place on January 1, and not in the traditional February, as was the case in previous years, so the Russian Pension Fund notified in advance the schedule for pension payments in Moscow and the region:

date

Increase in size pension payments among Russians, compensation for inflation processes occurs annually. The increase in pensions in Moscow in 2018 provides not only for the indexation of the basic part, but also for an increase in the Moscow supplement for those pensioners who are entitled to it. At the same time, pension benefits will not be indexed for pensioners who continue to work.

Pension reform in Russia in 2018

Events in the field of pension accrual for 2018 will be a further development of the reform reforms that have begun. According to the Law “On Insurance Pensions” dated December 28, 2013, the mandatory conditions for receiving social benefits in old age are:

  • Reaching retirement age (60 years for women and 65 for men).
  • Having the required experience.
  • Possession of a sufficient number of pension points.

Every year until 2025, the requirements for the length of service and pension coefficients of recipients of social insurance payments will increase. For 2018, these indicators are 9 years and 13.8 points, for 2018 – 10 years and 16.2 points, and so on. Knowing this, everyone can easily independently calculate how much their experience or accumulated points meet the legal requirements for those entering retirement.

Another innovation concerns a new form of contributions for working citizens. Since 2018, a new savings system has been introduced, when the employee himself determines how much he will save for retirement - from 1 to 50%. It is important that you can use these savings before you retire, and now the issue of transferring the savings portion by inheritance is being resolved by law.

Annual indexation of pensions

In accordance with the law, for social protection to protect the population from the consequences of inflation in a difficult economic situation, indexation of payments to pensioners is provided. As before, pension increases in Moscow in 2018 will occur in different months:

  • From January 1, 2018, the old-age pension will be increased by 3.7%, but only those who have no other sources of income will receive this increase (for example, working pensioners are not entitled to it). Previously, indexation took place on February 1, but this time the necessary funds were budgeted in advance.
  • From April 1, 2018, there will be an increase in social and state pensions. The indexation value is tentatively estimated at 4.1%.

New rules for receiving pensions for civil servants

The ongoing reform also affected civil servants - according to the new legislation, from January 1, 2017, they will have an annual increase in retirement age by six months, with a minimum possible length of service of at least 20 years. Therefore, for 2018, the retirement age will be: 56 years for women and 61 for men. The age limit for men will reach its maximum by 2026 and will be 65 years. For women, this figure will be 63 years, but this value will only be reached by 2032.

How pensions will change in Moscow in 2018

The size of the increase in pensions in Moscow in 2018 depends on the type of pension payments (old age, state, social) and the length of residence in the capital. Moreover, if the official amount of payments is less than the established norm, the recipient is entitled to an additional payment established by law. For different situations this norm will be:

  • the cost of living for a pensioner;
  • city social standard (GSS).

The minimum pension for those living in the capital for less than 10 years

According to legislative norms, if old-age payments are below the minimum subsistence level established for the recipient’s place of residence, then such a person is paid a regional social supplement (RSD), which is the difference between these values. It is important to note that the RSD is paid only to those Muscovites whose total period of Moscow registration is less than 10 years - for those who live in Zlatoglavaya longer, another form of compensation is provided.

In 2018, the cost of living for a Moscow pensioner was 11,561 rubles, which means that citizens who have lived here for less than 10 years and have social security less than this amount should receive regional social benefits. After increasing pensions in Moscow in 2018, the new benefit will be 255 rubles more, since the pensioner cost of living will be equal to 11,816 rubles.

For native Muscovites

Residents of the capital (and the territory annexed to it) with a residence history of more than 10 years have a different form of social security. The total amount of payment in this situation is adjusted to the value of the city social standard. For 2018, this value was 14,500 rubles, so pensioners entitled to this additional payment receive a monthly Moscow supplement, if necessary.

Increase in pension to the size of the city social standard

Preferential categories of citizens entitled to an increase to the city social standard include non-working pensioners, as well as some categories of working pension recipients and disabled people. The increase in pensions in Moscow in 2018 will also affect the city social standard - its value will increase to 17.5 thousand rubles - this value can be considered the minimum value for Muscovites with more than 10 years of residence experience.

Regulatory framework

The legal basis for increasing pension provision is the resolution of the Moscow Government No. 805-PP dated October 31, 2018. This legislative act addresses a wide range of issues related to payments to certain categories of citizens (for example, persons who served in military service in “hot spots”). The increase in pensions in Moscow in 2018, in addition to increasing the amount of monthly accruals, also provides for one-time payments. For example, participants in the defense of Moscow and veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles.

Indexation of pensions in Moscow

The increase procedure is intended to equalize the size of social payments due to inflation processes. The insurance pension in Moscow will increase by 3.7% from January 1, 2018 and it should not be less than the pensioner subsistence level - 11,816 rubles. Recipients of social and state pension indexation will take place on April 1 - this is due to the fact that the calculations are based on Rosstat readings for 2018, and this data needs to be collected and processed.

Who is entitled to increased pensions?

The size of the pension in Moscow in 2018 will not change for all recipients of this social payment. Those payments that receive:

  • non-working old-age pensioners - for them from January 1 there will be an increase of 3.7%;
  • social plan pensioners (for the loss of a breadwinner, disabled children, etc.) - indexation is planned for them on April 1, the estimated amount is up to 4.1%. Social subsidies will be indexed by 4%.

Will there be indexation of payments to working pensioners?

For old-age pensioners who continue to work, the situation will remain the same - their social payments will not be indexed - therefore there will be no increase for them and they will remain at the same level (which was emphasized by both Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Labor Minister Maxim Topilin). The possibility of indexation of pension benefits is possible for such recipients only upon termination of employment.

Additional payment for pensioners in Moscow from January 1, 2018

Having ten years of Moscow residence experience is a differentiating factor when adjusting pension accruals. Those who do not yet have this experience can count on an additional payment up to the pensioner’s subsistence level; for those who have lived here for 10 years or more, the amount is compensated up to the size of the State Social Insurance Fund. The table shows the comparison between these indicators:

For preferential categories of citizens

The increase in pension payments will also affect beneficiaries. Resolution No. 805-PP lists the categories of citizens entitled to receive city cash payments. This includes:

  • Rehabilitated or recognized as victims of political repression - 2,000 rubles.
  • Home front workers - 1,500 rubles.
  • Labor veterans – 1000 rubles.
  • Monthly compensation in exchange for other benefits (free travel, medicines, etc.) - the maximum increase is 1108 rubles.

One-time payments to anniversaries of married life

The capital authorities have also provided for one-time cash payments on the occasion of anniversaries life together, showing that social policy for this area is aimed at promoting family values. Moscow families with a marital experience of 50 years or more can apply for such payments - the table shows the anniversary dates according to which the amount paid changes:

Pensioners - former military personnel

The amount of social payments to former military personnel and persons equivalent to them (ex-employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, etc.) will be indexed on January 1, 2018. This is an initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who proposed considering the issue of simultaneous indexation of payments to military personnel and payments to former military personnel. The approximate size of the increase is 2% - the exact amount will be known only after indexation.

Legislative decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation provide for an increase in pension, social payments Every year. In December, the Pension Fund (PF) announced the indexation of pension accruals for retired citizens who do not have additional income from work. What will be the real increase in pension? non-working pensioners in 2018 and when can citizens who have rightfully deserved a vacation be expected to receive such an increase?

What is pension indexation

It is known that pensions are indexed by the Government in order to implement nationwide measures, the purpose of which is to improve the quality of life of Russians and compensate for price increases. When talking about indexation, it is necessary to distinguish this term from the recalculation of pension insurance payments, especially since these concepts are often confused. Indexing affects exclusively non-working pensioners, and recalculation of accruals is provided for working pensioners.

If old man continues to work, receiving a salary; recalculation depends on transfers from his employer. Upon dismissal, all indexations that occurred during his work are taken into account and after 3 months the amount of pension benefits increases by the required coefficients. There is no need to apply for such promotions yourself. The territorial bodies of the Pension Fund independently carry out the calculations.

In discussions about reform, the State Duma believes that working pensioners do not need indexation of insurance coverage, explaining this by a shortage of money in the funded part. As a possible way out of this situation, to replace frozen pension savings NPFs are invited to submit an application for discussion on the implementation of the IPC (individual pension capital), which would relieve the burden on the budget and increase provision for everyone.

Average pension in Russia

The average annual pension amount does not depend on the cost of living. According to calculated data from the Pension Fund of Russia, payments to old-age pensioners in 2018 will amount to 14 thousand rubles. on average, while today the pension subsistence minimum is 8,496 rubles. Through indexation, the Government of the country significantly reduces the difference between these indicators. Some older Russians receive benefits below the minimum subsistence level. Such citizens are entitled to special additional payments, which are also regularly indexed simultaneously with labor pensions.

Legal regulation

Supplements for payments to non-working pensioners in 2018 are established in accordance with the main legal documents in this area: the laws “On Insurance Pensions” No. 400-FZ and “On State Social Assistance” No. 178-FZ, which provides for an annual increase from February of fixed insurance payments, pension coefficient and social surcharges on the consumer price increase index of the past year. This amount is set by the Government of the country, and the source of funds is the budget of the Russian Pension Fund.

The cost of the coefficient every year from April is determined by the law on the budget of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation for the current and next period. To implement indexing in 2018 under a special regime, it was necessary to make changes to this legal area: a law was developed and considered by the State Duma simultaneously with the law on the Pension Fund budget. At the end of 2018, on December 28, the President signed Law No. 420-FZ dated December 28, 2017, which approved the specifics of increasing the insurance pension for the next year. The PF budget for 2018 was adjusted by law dated December 19, 2016 No. 416-FZ.

Increasing pensions for non-working pensioners

According to the new legal norms, indexation is provided for all grounds for assigning insurance pensions - old age or disability, loss of a breadwinner. It will be produced at an accelerated pace, taking into account the excess of expected inflation in 2018. The goal is to provide a more tangible increase in income for non-working pensioners in the new year. At the same time as the indexed insurance part, the cost of the pension coefficient (point) will increase.

The provision of social pensioners will not be left without an increase. This group of people includes disabled people, WWII veterans, certain categories of dependents and Russians who were unable to earn the required number of years of work (insurance) service by retirement age. For such categories, legislative changes clarify that the final material support The number of pensioners must be no less than for the previous year (taking into account the current year’s social benefits).

The upcoming indexation is provided only for non-working elderly people, and working pensioners are expected to provide for themselves. They are scheduled to receive an increase based on the points they earn starting in August. Experts consider this approach not only erroneous, but discriminatory and socially unfair. Many pensioners work for a small income that does not cover rising prices, and are deprived of indexation. According to the law, after leaving work, such citizens wait 3 months for the indexed increase. In 2018, they will already receive an increase in benefits after dismissal from the 1st month.

Indexation percentage

According to the new law No. 420-FZ, fixed insurance payment increased by 1.037 times and its established size is 4982 rubles. 90 kopecks The coefficient is also increased by 1.037 times and is equal to 81 rubles. 49 kopecks The indexation value, amounting to 3.7%, is higher than the indicator for forecasting economic inflationary processes (2.6%). Currently, the consumer price index is 3.2%. For the first time during the crisis years, the indexation of pensions for non-working citizens in 2018 was marked by a level higher than actual inflation (by 1.1%). The size of the increase in social security will be 4.1%.

When will the pension be increased?

Previously, insurance (labor) pension accruals were indexed from February 1, but in 2017 the coefficients were replaced by a one-time compensation payment of 5 thousand rubles. The innovations of Law No. 420-FZ are not only recalculation, but also changes in payment dates. It was decided to increase the increase ahead of schedule from January 1, 2018 and once. The effect of the relevant rules on additional annual increases has been suspended until 2018. Federal beneficiaries will begin to receive indexed payments from February 1, the size of their increase takes into account the inflation forecast - 3.2 percent.

How the insurance part will change

As a result of the approved pension growth indices from January 1, 2018 (for comparison, data for 2017 are also shown) will be the following values:

Individual pension coefficient in 2018

The legal basis for pension provision is reviewed every year. In 2018, to assign an insurance pension to a Russian, a work experience of 9 years or more is required. To calculate pension payments, all the rights of a retired citizen are taken into account, converted into points: the length of his work activity; wage; employer insurance contributions. To acquire the right to insurance pension, you need to have a total of 13.8 points. Such coefficients (pension points) have also been increasing since January, along with general indexation from 78 rubles. 28 kopecks up to 81 rub. 49 kopecks

Indexation of fixed payment

The slowdown of inflation processes in Russia allowed the Ministry of Economic Development to predict a decrease in the price index. Facilities pension indexation were already included in the country's budget in a higher volume of 3.7-3.8%, which corresponded to the early inflation forecast. The government decided to increase the increase by 3.7 percent and make ahead of schedule for one month. As a result, the fixed payment is indexed by a factor of 1.037 times (in the amount of 4982.9 rubles) and the average annual amount of security accrued for old age is projected at the level of 14075 rubles.

Military pension from January 1, 2018

Former military personnel, like other persons with pensioner status, hope for an increase in state material payments and expect an increase in the so-called “reduction coefficient” for calculating their pensions. At the same time, the Government of the country decided to freeze the reduction coefficient and return to considering the issue of increasing it during the execution of the budget.

So far, along with the indexation of pensions for non-working pensioners in 2018, the provision of military pensioners is indexed by 4 percent. Their average increase will be about a thousand rubles, from 24,500 to 25,500 rubles. This will happen not from February, but from January 1, as for civilians. In addition, the President established that indexation should be carried out every year for military personnel - employees of the Prosecutor General's Office and Investigative Committee with the establishment of a monthly additional payment for the rank. These innovations take effect from 02/01/2018.

The purpose of the changes is to increase social protection for employees who have left the Prosecutor's Office or the Investigative Committee. Until 2018, military prosecutors and investigators were subordinate to the Ministry of Defense, and then they became part of the staff of the Prosecutor General’s Office or the Investigative Committee. As a result, there was a difference in the provision of such pensioners. The exact amount of increase for them depends on the rank (title) upon dismissal from the authorities.

Increase in social pensions from April 2018

The introduced amendments to pension law also affected social pension payments. Provision is made not only for the indexation of pensions for non-working pensioners in 2018, but also for working persons in this category who receive social pension from the state. It will be 4.1%. The increase period is set from 04/01/2018. Social pensioners They will pay extra up to the subsistence level.

According to the state statistical service, in a number of regions of the country the minimum subsistence level of a pensioner has decreased, which, as a conclusion from the current legislation, entails a reduction in social security payments, but with the latest legal innovations this will not be allowed. It was decided that the total financial support of a pensioner citizen should be no less than last year (taking into account current additional payments and benefits).

How much will pensions be indexed?

Currently, over 4 million people receive a social pension. The growth percentage for them will be 4.1 versus 1.5 percent in 2018, and the average pension social payment will increase to 9,045 rubles, whereas previously social Security from the state there were 8,700 rubles. The pension increase in 2018 for non-working pensioners of this group will be carried out in the spring of the coming financial period: these pensioners are included in the 2nd stage of indexing.

Indexation of social benefits for disabled people

The state also pays social pensions to disabled people, who are also scheduled for an increase. Such indexing will be carried out according to the characteristics of disability assignment. So, some people receive 15,000-16,000 rubles, and many who do not have the necessary experience, who have only 5,000-6,000 rubles. These disabled people with incomes below the subsistence level are entitled to additional social protection.

Social pension payments are indexed by 4.1% (for comparison: in 2018 the increase was 1.5 percent). Thus, the average pension for disabled people of the 1st group. from childhood or a disabled child in 2018 will reach 13,699 rubles against the previous 13,026 rubles. It is important that this coefficient is also higher than the predicted inflation level. The size of the final social assistance supplement depends on the group and the reason for receiving disability (see table above).

Monthly cash benefits to a pensioner are the main source of income for most elderly citizens of our country. Therefore, older people have exciting questions: will there be indexation of pensions in 2019 and who will have their pensions increased and whether to expect an increase at all? Let's try to understand these issues.

At the beginning of 2017, territorial Pension Funds provided all pensioners with a one-time monetary compensation in the amount of 5,000 rubles. The Pension Fund has not planned such a payment for 2019. But Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 10, 2017 No. 546 provides for indexation of the amount of the pension paid.

Indeed, in 2019 it is planned to increase pensions in three stages for 3 different categories citizens of retirement age.

Latest news about indexing

Great news for pensioners will be the news about another increase in the size of pension payments - its indexation based on data on the forecast level of inflation, which in 2017 was replaced by compensation of 5,000 rubles.

M. A. Topilin, head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, announced the planned indexation of insurance payments to pensioners not from 02/01/2019 (as was done previously), but from 01/01/2019.

The basis for the early increase in pensions was the need to improve the well-being of Russian citizens in connection with the upcoming presidential elections in the Russian Federation in March 2019.

According to the project, the Ministry of Labor and social development The Russian Federation provides for an increase in pensions by 0.5% above last year’s level of the actual cost of products and services.

As Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev said at a meeting with journalists on November 30, 2017, insurance and fixed monthly payments from the Pension Fund will be indexed without fail from January 1, 2019, finances in the Russian Pension Fund for this are provided for in the budget and such an increase will exceed the annual inflation rate - “problems this won’t happen.”

Draft law on indexation of insurance pensions and fixed payments to them in 2019 was adopted on December 15 by the State Duma in all three readings.

Who will get an increase and by how much?

First, let’s figure out what a “pension” consists of - monthly cash payments. And they consist of two main components, which can be displayed in the simplest formula:

Pension = Insurance part+ Fixed part.

  • The increase in regular cash benefits from January 1 concerns insurance and fixed parts. The increase is provided for categories of citizens receiving an insurance pension in a certain situation: on the occasion of old age (reaching age - M from 60 years old, F from 55 years old. For some categories of citizens the age is different, for example, for those living or working in the regions Far North- M from 55 years old, F from 50 years old and other citizens specified in the law);
  • for disability (having a medical certificate);
  • for the loss of a breadwinner (family members of the deceased who are unable to work).

The percentage increase in insurance pension payments in 2019 for unemployed elderly citizens will be 3.7%, which actually differs from the expected inflation rate by half a percent (which, according to Rosstat, is expected to be 3.2%) and the increase will occur from January 1 of the coming year ( has already happened).

The planned increase in payments will be implemented in 3 stages:

  1. For unemployed citizens receiving monthly insurance benefits, an increase is provided from January 1;
  2. For unemployed citizens receiving monthly social benefits (veterans, disabled people, dependents and those who have not accumulated the required work experience) - from April 1;
  3. For working citizens of retirement age - from August 1.

Indexation of pensions for working pensioners

As for , the increase for this category of citizens was canceled back in 2016 and no increase is provided for 2019.

As Minister of Finance A.G. Siluanov stated, this is due to the growth of wages in the country, that is, working pensioners have more opportunities to increase their income without relying on the size of payments from Pension Fund RF.

Points converted into rubles, earned annually by a pensioner, will still slightly increase the amount of payments received. The cost of 1 point will be equal to 81.49 rubles, and again there are restrictions - the maximum you can add is only 3 points, that is, the increase cannot exceed 244.47 rubles.

In addition, I would like to note that all required indexation will now be carried out from the first month, as soon as the pensioner stopped working. Previously, recalculation was carried out only 3 months after transition to “non-working” status.

Indexation of pensions for military pensioners

We should not forget about such a category of citizens as. As you know, former military personnel can receive 2 pensions at the same time, namely:

  1. The military portion of the payments, provided that his length of service was 20 years military service(employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fire protection, employees of the penal system) or upon reaching 45 years of age, but also subject to 20 years of service.
  2. The usual portion of payments according to age and work experience, also has its own nuances: if a military pensioner continues to work after leaving military service in a civilian job; reaching retirement age in civilian life has not been canceled - M from 60 years old, F from 55 years old; Must have at least 5 years of experience in a civilian job.

Thus, we can conclude that for military pensioners who have managed to accumulate civilian experience, we should also expect an increase in the pension payments they receive by 3.7% from 01/01/2019 in the part of payments that relates to civilians.

The size of the minimum pension in 2019

Having understood the news about how much the pension was increased from January 1, 2019 and what category of elderly people this will affect, let’s move on to an important issue and figure out which minimum size provided by the government of the Russian Federation.

Federal Law No. 400 of December 28, 2013 clearly regulates all the rules for establishing insurance pensions for citizens of the Russian Federation, such as:

  • insurance experience of at least 15 years;
  • compliance with conditions new system coefficients and points;
  • individual contributions to the Pension Fund;
  • work experience, etc.

According to our legislation, the minimum amount of pension payments cannot be less than the subsistence level. Although there are also derogations, if the total amount of payments provided by law for elderly citizens is still less, then an additional supplement is provided that will bring the level of pension to the stipulated legal level.

The cost of living for 2019 is tentatively set at 8,703 rubles. At the same time, of course, no one is canceling regional coefficients.

Remember, until recently the pension was indexed by the amount by which prices increased over the past year, but, unfortunately, this rule has been removed. Over the past 3 years, the government has not been serious about indexing pensions.- for example, in 2016 the growth was only 4%, and then they abandoned indexation altogether - they only highlighted financial assistance in 2017, thereby deciding to make up for the previous year. Over the past year, indexation, compared to 2015, is also small - only 5%. Thus the government is trying to save on people, who retired. Why? Pensioners are people who are completely dependent on payments from the state. The state used to keep pensions at a good level, but after the crisis and rising prices, as well as the refusal to index pensions for inflation, pensioners became poorer. AND V last years the pension is “underindexed”. This can be seen in this table:

Indexation of pensions in 2018 in Russia for non-working pensioners

This year the situation has changed a little. As far as I know, for 2018 it is already known exactly what, when and to what extent will be indexed. This information appeared several months ago, so changes in the indexation schedule are not expected. It was also stated that the authorities will strive raise pensions in Russia to 25 thousand rubles. About the same thing was stated, which they also want to raise to this level. Apart from the promises, nothing has been done so far, except for the tiny indexation carried out in January of this year. Indexation of pensions in 2018 in Russia is already in full swing. Let's take a look at the results.

So, in January 2018 it was already produced increase in pensions by 3.7%. This is very little, even when compared with 2017. Feral has indexed monthly payments. Here is the exact indexing calendar:

Indexation of pensions for working pensioners in 2018 in Russia

Here the situation is even worse - they are not going to index them at all. As was the case last year, the state decided to save on this part of the population, because these people work and why should they increase their pensions, because they already have a good income. This year we know for sure that non-working pensions will not get indexed. But they will be able to recalculate every year and their pension will increase slightly. But it is unlikely that you will be able to work for the rest of your life. Then the pension will increase significantly, but will it be able to cover the income that work previously brought in? Probably not.

In my opinion, a working pensioner should receive the same amount as a non-working pensioner. What difference does it make whether a person works or not, the pension should be the same, and the government should not save on this part of the population. This benefits no one.

What's next for indexing? Last news

As I said earlier, the government has planned to dramatically change payments until 2020 - up to 25,000 rubles. But so far we haven't seen no real steps in this regard - just empty promises. There is also information that in subsequent years you should not expect a sharp indexation - it will be about 4 percent. Therefore, only time can tell what will happen next.
